Mindfulness Meditation Session

When: Sunday 10 November 2019, 11:30am sharp to 12:00pm
Where: Wellbeing Studio, Level 1, St Michael's Place

Presented by Karen Ellis

Meditation has long been part of Karen??s life, with 40 years of personal practice.

For the last 10 years, her interest has extended to sharing this with others for health and wellbeing, including in her role on staff in a large acute hospital, working in the area of grief and loss. 

She participates in ongoing study and has completed meditation teacher training.

Sessions at St Michael??s will be held twice monthly with dates being advertised in the Order of Service, our website and other media.

Minister for Next Sunday
Rev Peter Burnham will be the minister until the end of November 2019. The topic of the address on Sunday 17 November 2019 will be ??People Seeking One Thing Only To Find Something Else.?


Lunchtime Organ Recital
Thursday 14 November, Rhys Boak will be performing at the Lunchtime Organ Recital Series. The organ recital is held from 1:00pm every Thursday (doors open at 12:30pm). Entry is free.

Film Group

When: Sunday 10 November 2019, 12.45pm

Where: Foyer of The Kino Cinema, 45 Collins Street

We will see the film 'Mrs Lowry and Son' at 1pm.

This is part of The British Film Festival currently showing in Melbourne. The film stars Vanessa Redgrave (Atonement and Letters to Juliet) and Timothy Spall (The King's Speech and Mr Turner). It tells the story of the British artist Lowry and the impact his obsessive mother had on his life!

Please buy your tickets as early as possible to ensure a seat, then 

after having lunch meet in the cinema foyer at 12.45pm.
