Administration Manager- Full time position.
About the role
St Michael’s Uniting Church, Melbourne, has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and enthusiastic person to join our team as the Administration Manager.
This role will be based in our Melbourne CBD office.
In this role, you will use your excellent customer service skills to provide a welcoming reception service, as well as maintaining rosters and registers, creating documentation, assisting volunteers, and project managing/supporting church events.
With a proactive approach and a passion for efficiency, you will take responsibility for the administrative function within the church and work to develop clear processes, manuals, and documentation for others to follow.
As well as providing general administrative support, the Administration Manager will act as Executive Assistant to the Executive Minister, including email and diary management, correspondence, and coordination of meetings.

About you (Key Selection Criteria)
To secure this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in business administration and/or equivalent relevant experience
- At least three years’ experience in office management, administration
- Experience in people management essential
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, One Drive, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Adobe Suite and Zoom.
- Familiarity with Windows operating system.
- Experience within the not-for-profit sector is desirable
