Healthy Ageing Seminar – Let’s Talk About Anxiety

$20Each month we choose a theme and present an exploration of helpful psychological tips on that theme. Presented by Julijana Chochovski, of The Cairnmillar Institute, these seminars provide much-needed tools for coping with problems commonly associated with ageing.
The supportive and friendly atmosphere allows participants the opportunity to discuss a variety of concerns that may arise in later years. Hosted by St Michael’s Uniting Church in the heart of the CBD, these secular seminars will help inspire you and your loved ones to enjoy an independent and high quality of life.

Clinical Psychologist Julijana Chochovski explores the challenge of dealing with anxiety as we age.
Anxiety is the most common mental health condition in Australia. On average, one in four people will experience anxiety at some stage in their life.
There are many forms of anxiety disorder but the one thing they have in common is their impact on our day-to-day activities.
Learn about why we experience anxiety and discover how to manage it effects on our wellbeing.
