H.O.P.E – Helping Our Planet Earth
March 25, 2017 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm
For human beings to flourish, the earth must flourish. We need clean air, clean water and nutritious food; to maintain a diversity of species and environmental systems.
There are many things that we, as individuals and as a group can do to promote environmentally friendly thinking. The H.O.P.E. workshops aim to explore these possibilities and inspire others.
Forest Tour
9.30am, Saturday 25 March
Victoria has an area of central highlands forest where nature-based tourism opportunities abound. With world famous Mountain Ash and pristine fern gully streams; it has been re-badged by conservationists as the proposed Great Forest National Park.
Set aside the time to join us and see this beautiful national forest park known as the lungs of our city. Only 90 minutes away from the CBD.
The H.O.P.E. group was delighted with the delicious catering and expertly guided tour of the beautiful area last year and this is a great opportunity for St Michael’s members to experience this stunning forest.
Meet for a slide show, morning tea and to car pool at the Toolangi Community House at 9.30am returning at about 4.30pm. Contact Cheryl or Sally to arrange the $30 payment and car-sharing. Cheryl Power 0422 463 780 Sally Clarke 9572 4906
