The Blessing of the Rocks

Rocks have been placed in the gardens of St Michael’s as symbols. Millions of years old they remind us that we are here for but a fleeting moment in time. They also remind us of strength and stability.
All in attendance will scatter petals upon the rocks. The petals are symbols of softness, and our need for peaceful serenity.
The blessing of the rocks gives us the opportunity to pause and reflect on the time we have and how we wish to use it.
