Good Friday Service

We gather in silence.
The Church is in darkness.
Seeing a glimmer of light in the darkness.
One by one the candles are snuffed out.
When the final candle is extinguished the people leave in silence.
At the conclusion of the Service, the bells will sound their slow notes across the city. It is a day of remembering. It is a day that hopes for a better day.
