As the iconic actress Bette Davis stated: “Old age ain’t no place for sissies.” It can be hard work balancing your mental and physical wellbeing.

Join Clinical Psychologist Julijana Chochovski as she explores the challenges of coping with the changes and stages of older adulthood.

Investigate helpful ways to plan for retirement and how to discuss your wishes with your family. Explore the options available regarding caregivers, administrators and executors.

Learn about how legal wills, power of attorney, medical directives and residential care and help you support your wellbeing.

Each month we choose a theme and present an exploration of helpful Psychological tips on that theme. Presented by Clinical Psychologist Julijana Chochovski, of The Cairnmillar Institute, these seminars provide much-needed tools for coping with problems commonly associated with ageing.

The supportive and friendly atmosphere allows participants the opportunity to discuss a variety of concerns that may arise in later years. Hosted by St Michael’s Uniting Church in the heart of the CBD, these secular seminars will help inspire you and your loved ones to enjoy an independent and high quality of life.
